An Egoist

Just as a goon has henchmen around him to exhibit his clout,
An egoist has self made cobwebs of ego, affectations and false demeanor weaved around him
He is not a bad man
It's just a survival technique.

---------*----------*----------*----------*-----------*------------

Some people have asked me to include meanings of difficult(not so used in colloquial sense) words. So here it is

*Goon is gunda

*henchmen are people who follow gunda

*affectation is false mannerism.

*demeanor means behaviour

Friendless Fame

She wanted to be famous at any cost,
She ended up being famous,
In the end she had swarms of people around her, adulating her,
yet she was alone, almost like marooned on an island
For the fame earns you fans and not priceless frens(friends).

Special...Very Special Person!!

There is one person in our lives responsible for showing us the light of the world, bringing us up and majorily responsible for what we are morally.
We are image of that person, almost one of her parts and yet we least accord the merit she deserves, often thankless, almost taken for granted. That person is encapsulated in six letter golden word 'Mother'.
Let's celebrate the spirit of that selfless angel by making her feel special in our own ways.Happy Mothers day!!

Dreams Unlimited

How much have you fallen in love with your dreams dawns on you only when you fulfill it or part from it or have a sense of parting from it (like me) due to unavoidable cirumstances .Anyways, having said that I truly believe in saying :" If you wish for something from heart the whole world conspires for its attainment" And me being an ardent follower of Sharukh would only say that ...picture abhi baaki hai mere dost.Think big Dream big for in them lies the foundation of success.

Random Thought

There is a grey patch(read as phase) in everybody's life where the world around you seems to be moving fast, and you somehow are left behind, you feel dejected and left out, then somehow you amass courage and strength and start chasing it all over again, but world moves even faster..faster than ever ..But you have faith that there is a light at the end of tunnel but you soon realise that the light is of incoming train or even that light might have been switched off due to recession(pun intended) And amidst all this stress, conundrum and despair you join hands in obeisance to the Unknown power and answers come from within to get you out of this quagmire. This is your ultimate moment of glory and that 'grey patch' : learnings and experience of your lifetime.

Piece of Homily.

It's 62 Independence Day and the day would be commemorated throughout India with plethora of events, celebrations and an even more rhetorics, newspapers would be bunged with sepia tinted photographs showing glimpses of freedom struggle and also inundated with prolix editorials exerting thrust on the challenges that lie ahead and there would be far greater televised discussions. So while we rejoice this day by participating in events, sending messages/scraps on mobile and social networking websites to friends/acquaintances or just like me ensconced in my house,Don't forget to reminisce about those great people who have given us the reason to celebrate and much more. There is a famous chestnut which says:For people who forget their history are condemned to repeat it.

My first Blog.

Ah..(a sigh of relief)It's 1 am and I am almost falling into a gentle slumber.I have just finished cleaning my room which just half an hour ago resembled a squalid hovel. And if you people are wondering why am I mentioning such a mundane 'exercise' in my debut blog, that too at the very outset, let me tell you it's the chores like these that are keeping me occupied these days in tough times of recession. As US President Barack Obama said"To overcome recession we need to create work, even if this means simply digging a hole and filling it and my idea of starting a blog(an initiative to kill the boredom and sheer idleness) just concurs with the president's thought and partially espouses Keynesian principles.
On a more serious note,my mind wanders over zillions of thoughts in a day and I always had a fervent desire to structure my thoughts by penning it down. But what's the point in just writing something on a piece of paper and keeping it in nether parts of desk's drawer, only to be bitten by dust(though right now it's clean). On the contrary I would like to be chastised and of course eulogised. As the title of my blog suggests I will be writing about wide spectrum of topics. And I look forward for your constructive criticism and support in this intellectually stimulating odyssey.
oops...It's quite late and time for me to hit the sack...Good Night :)
